Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Vydeob iOS app (the “App”) handles your information.
Information we collect
- Photos and prompts you submit. When you create a preview or a video, the photo(s) and any text you provide are sent to our servers and our AI providers to produce the result.
- Account data. The App signs you in with an anonymous account (or Sign in with Apple, if you choose) so we can keep your credits and videos.
- Purchase data. Subscription and credit purchases are processed by Apple; we receive purchase status through RevenueCat to grant your credits.
- Usage data. Anonymous usage statistics such as screens viewed, device type, operating system and app version. We do not collect precise location.
How we use it
To create your previews and videos, run your account and credits, prevent abuse, and improve the App. We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party services
Before any photo or prompt is processed, the App asks for your consent. We use these providers:
- Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, analytics) and Google Gemini (image generation for previews and video frames).
- Fal.ai (video generation).
- RevenueCat (purchase management).
Each provider processes data only to deliver its service to us, under its own privacy terms.
Retention and deletion
Photos used for a free preview are processed to create it and are not kept as part of your profile. Generated videos and the photos used for them are stored so you can access them in the App. To delete your data, email hello@vydeob.com and we will remove it. Uninstalling the App stops all further collection.
Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If we learn that we have, we delete it.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards. Credits and purchases are only modified by our servers.
Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date.
